In 2004, after 12 years in IT, I decided to change the field of activity due to a significant downturn in the IT market at that time.
From 2004 until now I have built a successful career in sales and business development management. My professional experience includes development of FMCG business in such categories as food, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages in Ukraine and abroad. During this time I contributed to the business development of such companies as Mars Inc., Royal Dutch Shell and others.
For the last 11 years I have been involved in International New Business Development for a number of Ukrainian FMCG companies. I have dozens of new contracts with importers and distributors in Eastern and Western Europe, Caucasus, MENA and Asia Pacific regions.
However, under the influence of the negative economic consequences caused by Russia's full-scale armed invasion of Ukraine which started on February 24, 2022 I decided to return to the sphere of IT development.

After being refused an H1B visa because of absense of Diploma, I decided that a university education was necessary after all, so I went to university while still working.
I was surprised to find that Higher Mathematics, which I hated during my first attempt to study in 1988, was an uncomplicated and completely logical subject.
After six years of study, I qualified as a manager of foreign economic activity and continued to work in this field.

My first contact with computers was back in 1984, when I was 12 years old. At one point I became a computer addict and my dreams of the future were inextricably linked to the subject. So the question of which university to apply to after my High School graduation was out of the question for me - this should be only Polytechnic.
I got in on the first try, but I soon found out that Higher Maths, absolutely hostile to me, was the basis of a technical education. After a year of my suffering, with the only excellent mark in Programming on the background of unsatisfactory results in the other subjects, I decided that I could live without a diploma and left the University.
